A virtual server is a machine that shares resources with other virtual servers running on the same computer. Each server is exclusively assigned part of the resources of the machine that hosts it. In this respect, virtual servers are as separate computers, since they perform local operating systems and are dedicated exclusively to a customer, allowing the same privacy, independence and operating isolation of dedicated servers.
Virtual servers hosted by a dedicated server are for many aspects functionally equivalent to physical servers, they do not interfere with each other and enjoy entirely dedicated resources. Each virtual server can be configured as an independent website and each owner has complete control and administered exactly as if it were a dedicated server, without having to manage the hardware part thanks to the complete redundancy that characterizes virtual servers. The cost varies according to the resources assigned, including CPUs, RAM, Hard Disk and Banda.
Register.it, member of the CISPE Council, is able to ensure that the data processed within our data centers comply with what is specified in the new GDPR European Regulation
The infrastructure on which we remove services to our customers is able to offer important guarantees in terms of performance and reliability. The network critical devices are completely redundant to ensure a continuity of the service in the event of hardware failures.
The data centers in which we host the services we offer to our customers are ISO 9001 - ISO 14001 - ISO 27001 certificates. Only maintaining high security standards we have been able to adhere to the CISPE conduct codes and align with the new GDPR regulation.
